Don't Forget DJAN!

 "God loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of God's unfailing love. (Psalm 33:5)

Warmest greetings from DJAN as we approach the last week of Advent!  As we prepare to light the Advent candle representing love, we pray that all people will soon have a passionate love for justice; and also that we all will continue to have a heart for the ministry we all share as members of DJAN.

As you're preparing for upcoming church services, finishing up your last-minute holiday shopping, and completing your year-end charitable giving, we want to do to things:  first, we want to thank you again for your generosity in the past; and, second, we want to ask you to continue to support DJAN as we—all of us—work together to fulfill our mission.  Again, our shared mission is to:

+ promote a passion for justice in our denomination and our churches;
+ provide prophetic Disciples leadership to denominational, ecumenical, interfaith, and religious-secular coalitions; and
+ participate actively alongside all people of faith and conscience to build the Beloved Community envisioned by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This Christmas season, we want especially to invite you to support our new efforts at campus organizing and our continuing outreach to seminarians and young adults.  When you do so, you support not only the work of DJAN, but also the future of our church.  So please give generously!

And if you have friends, colleagues, or family members who  might be interested in supporting the vision, values, and work of DJAN, please forward this email along to them.  In fact, since it's almost Christmas, why not buy them a special Christmas membership in DJAN.  You can  buy them a gift membership for the reduced rate of $20only $15 for young adults.

Note:  If you prefer to mail in your special Christmas gift:
